When I wake up in the morning I look forward to putting my makeup on. But sometimes my bed wins and traps me for 10 more minutes so I have less time to do my morning routine. I figured out a fool proof 5 minute face that I can do and rush out the door without looking like a sleepy head.
This post is a bit late but I finally feel like I’m getting back into my usual routine which means I will continue my weekly posts on here 🙂
This haul is a mix of things I picked up while on vacation and things I received when I was gone. Matte & Metallics are having a moment in my daily routine right now so I had to add to the obsession…
Dark lips are my absolute FAVORITE trend. Besides neutral lips, I tend to gravitate towards vampy sultry colors at any makeup counter. One of the reasons being it can dress up any simple look into a classy yet sophisticated one. I thought I would share my go-to choices!
Its safe to say Hawaii is basically my second home.. if you truly know me you already know this.. specifically Oahu. I try to go at least once or twice a year. One of my best friends has lived out there for a few years now so that is another reason for my frequent visits. It’s hard to sum up everything I did but I’ll give you a pretty good summary of my whole trip.
Packing makeup to travel with stresses me out a bit. One of the main reasons is because I want to bring my whole vanity. I’ve learned that I need to pack smart (not light because let’s be honest that’s not gonna happen.) AND it gives me the opportunity to use all the mini little cute beauty products I have hoarded over time to put to good use! Since I am going to Hawaii in a few days I thought I would pack a bit early and share with you guys what I bring with me when traveling to hot/humid island areas. (Lanikai Beach | Photo by ME.)
Liquid lipsticks are having a moment right now in the beauty world and I absolutely love it. I’ve actually had these products for a while but thought it was the perfect time to share my thoughts about them since a lot are good color choices for fall!
This was definitely an impulse buy. I would think of any reason not to buy this palette because I have a million and one but once I saw it sold out on Sephora.com and Ulta.com I panicked and bought it on Nordstrom.com
I have been a HUGE Lora Arellano admirer for quite sometime now and she has been an inspiration for me too. When she started Melt Cosmetics with fellow Beauty Dana Bomar I became an instant fan. I’ve waited so long to get this product just because of the price was a bit high for me and it always sold out so quick. A few months ago it finally came back in stock and with a swiftness I made the purchase I wanna say within the first 2 minutes it went live. 🙂
