OH HEY! yes, I am still alive. These past months have been crazy busy for me. From weddings, best friends, traveling every other week to just life I’ve been all over the place. I’m finally getting back into the groove of things and why not start with my favorite type of post.. FAVORITES! Here’s what I’ve been loving lately during these summer days and what I can’t stop using….
Boscia- Detoxifying Black Cleanser– If I start to break out I always grab this cleanser. Since I have normal/combo skin this helps with declogging my pores and my little breakouts I sometimes get. It’s not as abrasive as my other cleansers but it does the job.
Shiseido- Ibuki Multi Solution Gel- One of my main concerns for myself is skin texture and the occasional break outs a few times a month.. this gel like moisturizer IS AMAZING. I usually use this at night and when I wake up in the morning my skin looks noticeably less red on my problem areas and smoother as well. It has a strange gel memory foam type feel when you use it so don’t be weirded out by it!
Tarte- Tarteguard Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30- If I’m not using my Shiseido SPF I’m using this. I love this Tarte SPF because it doesn’t leave a white cast on my face, doesn’t break me out, super lightweight and doesn’t leave me feeling oily throughout the day. Besides being so adorably cute, I love this tiny travel size because it lasts me a pretty long time!
Urban Decay- 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in 1993/ Tarte- Tarteist™ Glossy Lip Paint in Double Tap- I love UD lip liners because of the creaminess and the lasting power. This tarte gloss is a recent purchase and it has to be one of the most comfortable glosses I own for sure. It’s not too sticky and the pigment is amazing. The medium brown lip liner and cool mauvey tone color of the gloss creates my favorite go-to lip right now!
IT cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Airbrush Silk Pressed Anti-Aging Finishing Powder- My secret weapon this summer. This finishing powder seriously keeps my oily T-zone under control and makes my pores look nonexistent. I usually use the Real Techniques Powder Brush all over my face and sets like a dream. I never have to retouch my makeup at all because of this.
Illamasqua Disobey Blush/ Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter- This combo give me the summer glow I’ve been searching for! I love disobey blush because it’s a matte bronze color with warm undertones but still enough to give me a healthy glow without looking orangey at all. To be honest, champagne pop was a bit toooo glowy on me when I would usually wear it. But now that I found the perfect pairing it has become my go-to summer glow.
I have a lot of summer favorites and more travel posts coming up so stay tuned 🙂
Let me know what you are loving recently!
