I have been a HUGE Lora Arellano admirer for quite sometime now and she has been an inspiration for me too. When she started Melt Cosmetics with fellow Beauty Dana Bomar I became an instant fan. I’ve waited so long to get this product just because of the price was a bit high for me and it always sold out so quick. A few months ago it finally came back in stock and with a swiftness I made the purchase I wanna say within the first 2 minutes it went live. 🙂
These shadows can make such wearable neutral eye looks and transition into a
darker neutral smokey eye look as well. For me, while using them it was a bit dry but still blended easily.. they lasted very well throughout the day. What really impressed me was the ‘dark matter’ shade. It is seriously the blackest matte I have in my collection now. Sorry Urban Decay Blackout still love ya 😉 All the colors in this stack work so well together I like to throw MAC-blanc type e/s in the mix as a perfect under the brow color. The packaging is so unique to me. It comes in a sleek magnetized stack with a little mirror on the top stack. When I first opened the package I didn’t except it to be so bulky. I guess from pictures it looked a bit smaller. Not a huge problem for me because that just makes it worth the price point on how large it is.
Here are some swatches:
The test for me is how well they travel with. I will most likely test this when I go to Chicago in a few months. I might start posting looks on here or on Instagram so keep a look out for those! You can get them here. If you love neutrals this is a MUST for your collection. Hopefully these don’t sell out anytime soon!
