Well, here is the millionth Fenty Beauty Review you are about to read. Its safe to say this is the most hyped beauty brand of this year.. and I am here to say that the hype around all of this is very real. I picked up a good amount of items.. and probably a bit more later on. I wanted to use what I bought for a few days before giving an honest review.
Ok, its officially the first day of Fall but I still have summer on my mind. I can still put up a very late summer time favorites though right? These past few months have gone by incredibly quick. Even though summer for me wasn’t what I thought it would be I still had a good one. These past months I went a bit crazy with the makeup and skincare haulin’ (but what’s new let’s be honest…) and have managed to gather up my recent favorites with a mixture of new stuff and old goodies. I love this transitional stage of the year and I always make sure to update my skincare/makeup routine to suit the new season and try new things.
Do you ever go online and intend to buy just ONE thing and all of a sudden your cart is filled with everything in your wishlist this month? yea… me too. I went online to purchase a new concealer and this is the result. A whole lot of Sephora newness and goodness to add to my collection. (Side note: I spy the Riverdale babes; love that show btw.)
FINALLY! Summer is upon us! I have a few goals for myself this summer but one of my main focuses this summer is to really step up my skincare game and maintain a healthy glowy look without having a million steps to achieve this. Here’s all the products I have my eye on in the month of June…
I’ve been into a lot of pretty springs neutrals which to me is neutral pinky mauves and easy muted browns these past few weeks and I wanted to share my top go-to picks. I’m all about comfortable formulas so these products have been in my purse, car, desk or on my vanity for quick and easy choices!
Of course I’m back with a random Sephora haul. To be honest, I’ve been uninspired these past few weeks and I finally feel like I’m back! I’m going to be traveling a lot these next few weeks so expect more posts.. oh, and just a warning this is going to be a long one 🙂
These days I try my best to shop smart and not impulse buy in the beauty world. Now that I don’t work in the beauty industry I’m not exposed to as much as I was. Buuuut let’s be honest, since I’m very blogger obsessed I’m always up to date with latest releases and the hot new stuff coming out. So here we have Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette Volume II is BEAUTIFUL. That being said, here is another gorgeous palette to add to my overflowing palette drawer (one day I’ll share this and you can see what I mean.) CONTINUE READING
2016 was definitely the busiest and fastest year for me. From weddings, traveling and just life in general I’m super excited to what 2017 has in store for me. In the beauty world, I’ve tried so many products throughout the year it’s a miracle I was able to make this list into just 16 products. So I give you my top 16 of 2016!
As the holidays are coming to an end I thought I would share my thoughts on the holiday palette I used for special occasions this month. The Holiday Kyshadow Palette is an awesome choice to create custom day to night looks.
These three products have been on heavy rotation for me the past months and definitely my new favorites!
I might have found my holy grail cleanser. Big statement I know but when I see quick results its automatic heart eyes for me. The Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash has changed my skin this wintertime. Let me start off by saying this isn’t an exfoliator, it is more of a foamy creamy type cleanser. The scent is citrusy, almost like lemongrass, but not overpowering. What I first noticed was how this cleanser made my skin noticeable soft and smoother. This sulfate free cleanser has a duo of AHA’s of glycolic acid and lactic acid. Glycolic acid helps to remove the outer layer of dead skin cells on your skin, has anti-agining benefits and helps with discoloration. Lactic acid helps with break outs and signs of wrinkles/aging as well. Its packed with fruit enzymes that are Pineapple, Pumpkin and Papaya that help gently exfoliate the skin with out drying it. I have acne at times on my chin that won’t go away and this helps control it. As you can see I can I can talk about this cleanser all day. Personally, I would use this once a day, 3 times a week, especially if my skin is congested.
And the face mask obsession continues. The Shiseido- Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask is a game changer. This leave-on mask makes my skin so glowly and radiant when I wake up its insane. This gel-based mask is packed with vitamins, super lightweight and helps with evening out my skin. I love wearing this mask if my skin feels tired and I know I need a boost of energy the next morning. Its also non- sticky so it doesn’t bother me when I sleep. Besides it being very hydrating, I notice it gives a calming affect as well. A little goes a long way too.
Ok this last one I bought on a whim and I’m so happy I did. This was a total surprise. The boscia- Sake Cleansing Water is something I didn’t think would perform well. Man, was I wrong. It evens out my skin, takes off ALL my makeup and I don’t even need to splash water on my face to wash it off. Did I also mention it literally takes off ALL my makeup? Quick tip ; I always use the Shiseido- Facial Cotton all over my face and make sure to gently hold the cotton pad over my eyes and swipe away.. BOOM all off. This is also something I love to use if I’m in a rush to cleanse my face since no other water necessary. I have yet to travel with this so hopefully it travels well.
I feel like I need to try more cleansers. Let me know your favs!
